Majestic Queen Anne home with a bar in the attic hits the market for $5.5M

A fine example of Queen Anne architecture, complete with turrets, towers, turned woodwork, and decorative carving has come back onto the market in Palo Alto for $5.488 million.

The original features still shine in this four-bedroom, three and 1/2-bathroom abode located at 1023 Forest Ave. The 4,516 square feet have clearly been updated over the century, but this is still a Queen Anne through and through, from the preserved facade to the interior, with its coved and coffered ceilings, antique windows and embossed wall coverings.
