Bunk beds in economy class? Perhaps soon on Air Zealand’s long haul flights

Lie-flat seats that turn into 180-degree beds are standard in the business and first class cabins of most long-haul airlines. Air New Zealand could become the first big carrier to give economy class fliers that same luxury.

The airline announced it is looking at installing lie-flat bunk beds in the economy cabins of its long-haul jets.
